# Connect Attio

Connect Attio to Justwon, see what Justwon reads and may do, and disconnect it.

## Before you start

- **In Justwon:** you must be an owner or an admin of the workspace. A Attio connection belongs to the whole workspace. See [Roles](https://justwon.ai/docs/get-started/roles).
- **Your credential:** Create an access token in your Attio workspace settings (Settings, API Keys). Give it read access to records (record_permission:read and object_configuration:read) and to workspace members (user_management:read), and add one read permission for each kind you want Justwon to read: note:read for notes, task:read for tasks, comment:read for comments, meeting:read for meetings, and meeting:read with call_recording:read for call recordings. A kind whose permission is missing stays off.

## Connect

1. Sign in to https://app.justwon.ai and open **Integrations**.
2. Open the **Available** tab, find **Attio** and select it. Its card says **Connect**.
3. Paste the credential from Attio into the field, then select **Connect**.

Justwon reads nothing yet. The connection shows a setup to finish first, and the first read starts when you finish it. After that, Justwon keeps reading on a schedule until you disconnect.

## What Justwon reads

Justwon reads the deals, companies and people in Attio, and, when you choose them, its meetings with who was invited, its notes, tasks and comment threads, and the transcripts of its call recordings.

## What Justwon may do

Justwon may do these in Attio:

- Create note
- Create task
- Update deal field

Each one runs only when your team has approved it or has allowed that kind of action to run on its own. You choose which of them Justwon may do in the connection's **Configuration** tab.

## Disconnect

1. Open **Integrations** and the **Connected** tab, and select the Attio connection.
2. Open the **Configuration** tab. Under **Disconnecting**, select the button for Attio, then select **Disconnect**.

Reading stops and the connection is removed. What stays and what goes is the same for every tool: see [Where your data is held](https://justwon.ai/docs/security/where-your-data-is-held). Remove the key or token you created in Attio too, so nothing is left that could be used.

## If the connection does not finish

- **Attio says the credential is wrong.** Create it again and paste it without spaces before or after. Check that it belongs to an account that can see the data Justwon reads.
- **The connection stops later and asks you to reconnect.** The credential was removed or has expired. Select the connection and reconnect it with a new one. The configuration and everything already read are kept. See [a connection that is stuck](https://justwon.ai/docs/troubleshooting/connection-stuck).
