# The Inbox

What the Inbox shows each day, what each card means and where it leads, and what it says when it is empty or out of date.

## What the Inbox is

The Inbox is the page Justwon opens on, and it is short on purpose. From top to bottom it holds a greeting, up to three cards for the work that matters most today, and a line saying what waits on you.

The greeting follows the time of day on your own clock, for example "Good morning, Mia". At the end of the same row the Inbox says when the day's digest was written. It reads "Your digest from", then the day and the time.

## The cards for today

Each day Justwon picks the accounts and the work that need you most and writes the picks into your daily digest. The Inbox draws the first three of them as cards under the heading **Today**.

A card names the account and says in one sentence what the work is. A line below it says how it is meant to be solved. A label at the end of the card says what kind of card it is, and selecting the card opens what resolves it.

| Approval | An action an agent has prepared and that waits for you. | **Review and approve** opens the action over the Inbox, so you can read it and decide. |
| To-do | Something for you to do. | Opens the work, and the card says which: **Open prep** for a meeting, **Open draft** for a drafted email, **Review**, or **Connect** or **Reconnect** a tool when the work is held up by a connection. |

| Running | The action was approved and is being carried out. | Opens its details. |

The account's logo at the start of the card opens the account itself.

A card also changes while you watch. It turns **Done** when the work is finished, or says **No longer needed** with the reason: **Settled another way**, **Expired**, **Replaced by something newer** or **Withdrawn**. A card whose work was declined, cancelled, skipped or stopped says so. A card that has settled stays where it was, so the order of the day does not move under you.

When there is more than one card, the heading shows how many are done, for example "1 of 3".

## When the cards are done

When every card has settled, the Inbox says **That’s today**.

- If more work is waiting on you, **Show me what’s next** brings the next three cards that still wait on you.
- If nothing else waits on you, the Inbox says **Nothing else needs you today**.

Reloading the page returns to the first three cards.

## The line under the cards

When something waits on you, a line under the cards starts with **Waiting on you** and counts what is waiting, for example "2 to approve", "1 to do" and "3 questions". Each count is a link to its tab on **Activity**: **To approve**, **To do** and **Questions**. The numbers are the same as the ones on the Activity tabs and on the badge in the left rail.

The line is not there when nothing waits on you. It is drawn whether or not the cards loaded, so you can always get to what waits on you from here.

## When the Inbox is empty or out of date

| --- | --- |
| "Your cards for the day land here each morning. They fill in once a source is connected and has been read." | There is no digest yet. Connect a tool and wait for its first read. See the [start guide](https://justwon.ai/docs/get-started/start-guide). |
| **A quiet day**, and "Nothing needs you today." | The digest is current and nothing waits on you. |
| A digest time from an earlier day, and no cards | The cards are drawn only while the digest is less than 20 hours old. An older digest is not shown as today's cards, but the line under them still shows what waits on you. |
| **Your daily digest did not load** | The read failed. Select **Try again**. |

## Steps to go live

In a new workspace, an admin sees **Your steps to go live** in place of the cards until the first digest has been written. While the workspace is not live and the next step is yours to take, a line above the greeting says what it is and has a button for it, for example **Connect**. Members do not see it.
